Photos

Posted on August 16th, 2006 in General by TheMysteriousX

I’m having a little bit of trouble with the photos; namely there are over 500 MB of them.

To upload them, it will have to wait until I have a *lot* of spare time, or until I am back at uni and have access to a much faster net connection.

If anyone would like me to, I can burn them onto CD’s, and distribute them that way.

Holiday Photos

Posted on August 9th, 2006 in General by TheMysteriousX

Will be done tomorrow/later.

If they are not, can somebody please verbally abuse me via telephone/Microsoft Messenger.

As far as I can remember, I need to upload Matthews Holiday pics, create a downloadable archive of all the other pictures, and put up matts photos from Tom’s/Emmas.

Anything else?

Anyway, resuming regular service…

Have a random link.

I’m not sure whether to laugh, or despair…

Judge for yourselves:

Captain Copyright

Also, while I have your attention, the Hull uni mail server has been silently rejecting all emails sent to some of my addresses (everything but my hotmail account) so if you have emailed me in the last month, then chances are I have not recieved your message.

Chain Mail

Posted on May 17th, 2006 in General by TheMysteriousX

I usually destest chain mainings… but this one amused me briefly.

3 Brits die each year testing if a 9v battery works on their tongue.

142 Brits were injured in 1999 by not removing all pins from new shirts.

58 Brits are injured each year by using sharp knives instead of screwdrivers.

31 Brits have died since 1996 by watering their Christmas tree while the fairy lights were plugged in.

19 Brits have died in the last 3 years believing that Christmas decorations were chocolate.

British Hospitals reported 4 broken arms last year after cracker pulling accidents.

101 people since 1999 have had broken parts of plastic toys pulled out of the soles of their feet.

18 Brits had serious burns in 2000 trying on a new jumper with a lit cigarette in their mouth.

A massive 543 Brits were admitted to A&E in the last two years after opening bottles of beer with their teeth.

5 Brits were injured last year in accidents involving out of Control Scalextric cars.

In 2000 eight Brits cracked their skull whilst throwing up into the toilet.

Thanks Eve!

OK, so I have managed to defeat the spam bots that were attacking the site in hand to hand combat (well, I’m now blackholing their comments at any rate). The next step will be for me to revive one of my old projects.

Hopefully there should be no more advertisements of medication, mortgages and the like.

Random Rubbish at 01:37 (12 hours from 13:37)

Posted on May 6th, 2006 in General by TheMysteriousX

Why does uni make me tired?

I’ve only been awake 13 hours, but I already want to go to sleep.
Perhaps I should start my coffee habit again, 5 cups a day should do the trick.

Still, 6 days till I get home; no time at all. Must try and reserve a seat on the train too this time, don’t fancy playing musical chairs again on the way back. Though it shouldn’t be as busy on the way back, as I’m travelling mid afternoon, not early morning when world + dog are also trying to travel.

Exams. Programming was Easy. With a capital E. If I haven’t passed then . Maths. Was horrible. If I’ve passed by any more than 1% .

Internets have been fairly quiet just recently, so unless I have been adding things to my favourites list and not realising it, I have no random link today.

Actually, I have a very cool link. One that will actually give this site a purpose. I’ll need a few days to set it up though. Check back soon.
